We recommend printing out and keeping a copy of these terms and conditions for future reference. They apply to all transactions made through this website and should be read carefully. Nothing here affects your statutory rights.

These terms and conditions govern the use of this website. By accessing this website and/or placing an order, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out here. If you do not agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, you may not use or access this website.

Any contract for the purchase of goods through this website is made with Fone4U. Fone4U must receive payment in full for the goods before your order can be accepted and a contract formed.

Once payment has been received, we will confirm that your order has been placed by sending a confirmation email to the address you provided when registering. This email will include your name, order number and the total price. Fone4U's acceptance of your order at this point creates a legally binding contract between us on these terms. Any terms you seek to impose as part of your order will not form part of that contract.

Fone4U reserves the right to withdraw from a contract where there is an obvious error or inaccuracy relating to the goods listed on our website. If we discover an error or inaccuracy in the advertised price of goods you have ordered, we will contact you by email as soon as possible to let you know the correct price, so you can decide whether to continue with your order at the amended price or cancel it altogether.

All handsets sold on the Fone4u website are fully tested and factory reset by one of our engineers before they reach you.

If a handset is received by a customer and any data remains on it, it is the customer's responsibility to wipe this data.

These terms and conditions, and all transactions relating to this website, are governed by Irish law and are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts. We do not accept amendments to these terms and conditions. Additional terms and conditions may apply for prize competitions, online bidding, pre-release orders, and our added-value services and offers — if so, you will be alerted to them at the relevant juncture.

These terms and conditions only cover the Fone4u website. Any other websites linked to this site are governed by their own terms and conditions, and we accept no responsibility or liability for the content or operation of websites that are not under our control. We are required by law to tell you that sales can be concluded in English only and that no public filing requirements apply.

Fone4u owns the copyright, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights in all material and content on this website, which you may use, download, copy, publish, transmit, or otherwise make available only for your own personal, non-commercial use. Any other use or reproduction of the material or content is strictly prohibited. You may not create a link to this website without our prior written consent, nor may you restrict or inhibit anyone else's use or enjoyment of it.

While we use reasonable endeavours to verify the accuracy of any information placed on the Fone4u website, we make no warranties, express or implied, as to its accuracy. We make no warranty that the Fone4u website will meet your requirements or be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free; that defects will be corrected; or that the site or the server making it available is free of viruses or bugs, or represents the full functionality, accuracy, and reliability of the website.

We will not be responsible or liable to you for any loss of content or material uploaded or transmitted through the Fone4u website.

All prices shown include VAT, calculated under the second-hand VAT margin scheme. We accept payment by Visa, MasterCard, Switch, Maestro and PayPal, with all product prices and delivery charges shown in euros. Any currency conversion is carried out by your payment card company.

Because we operate the Marginal VAT scheme, which is common on used goods, VAT cannot be claimed back. We can supply a VAT invoice on request, but it will not itemise the VAT amount separately. Please note that prices at Fone4u are subject to change at any time.

If Fone4U has insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered, we will notify you as soon as possible. Any sum debited from your credit card or PayPal account will be re-credited, with the refund made as soon as possible and, in any event, within 5 days of your order. Fone4U will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for any disappointment suffered.

We endeavour to bring our customers the best value by running special offers, but please remember that stock at special offer prices is limited and subject to availability. We update our website as quickly as we can to minimise disappointment, though the process of updating the site when goods have sold out at promotional prices can take a few hours.

Fone4U runs competitions from time to time to give customers the chance to win freebies. We do not allow more than one win per customer per household or IP address. Any email address collected through a competition will be automatically added to our mailing list. If you do not want to be added, please email remove@Fone4u.ie with the word “remove” in the subject line. Any email address we collect will never be shared with a third-party company.

Voucher codes must be redeemed only by the recipient of the voucher or a family member.

Each code can be used once only. Any unused credit cannot be carried over or applied to another transaction.
